This beautiful white sandy beach is split by the Mole, a long breakwater stretching out into the harbour entrance. Described as ‘the outstanding monument of Edwardian architecture in New Zealand’, as well being regarded as the most photographed building in the country, the Dunedin Railway Station was constructed in 1906, during the New Zealand railing systems period of growth that occurred between the late 1890s to the early 1900s. https://www.dunedinnz.com/visit/see-and-do/heritage
